Fourth Generation

Allie Finkell started working in the family business at the age of 12, filling online sample requests at the start of the internet age. After internships in marketing and sales, she finished her degree in Economics and moved to New York City to pursue a career in advertising. A year later, she joined Anderson as the northeast sales manager, then accepted a position with Shaw Commercial after the Anderson company was sold. She worked in commercial hard surface for 7 years as part of business development efforts at Shaw and Mohawk before rejoining her father as a partner and vice president of Cumberland Products in 2015. She leads Marketing, Product Development and Sales for the company, and created Hearthwood Floors as the flagship brand to continue the Anderson/Finkell legacy through the creation of sustainable, well-crafted, design leading hardwoods for future generations.
